There will be no formal AIS meeting in May because the second week of May coincides with London Craft Week, during which there will be several Indonesia-related events. AIS members are encouraged to attend them. The Indonesian Embassy is helping to organise two of them
The events are:
May 11th – 17th: Exhibition at Lisa King Studio, 8 Duke Street, St James’s London, SW1Y 6BN Free.
Tuesday May 12th, 7.30-8.30pm: Batik: Recolouring tradition — Panel Talk (Panelists include former AIS Council member Fiona Kerlogue) £10.
Thursday May 14th, 7-8.30pm: Batik for Interiors: Colour, Material & Space — Workshop £35.
