Posted on April 8, 2026May 13, 2026 By Ati Kisjanto No Comments on In MemoriamProf. Juwono Sudarsono
The Council was saddened to hear of the death of Prof. Juwono Sudarsono on Saturday, 28 March in Jakarta and would like to send our deepest condolences to his family. As Indonesian Ambassador to the UK from 2003-2004 he was a patron and great friend of the society. Prof. Juwono had a deep connection with the UK, having received his PhD from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He was an academic at the University of Indonesia and held ministerial positions under four Indonesian presidents from Suharto to Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.
