Adhiguna will speak a little bit about personal career journey and then talk about what is AI and the implications of its wide-ranging applications: for example on various fields, its impact on jobs, and ethical questions surrounding its use.

Adhiguna Kuncoro is a senior AI researcher at Google DeepMind, where he works on machine learning and natural language processing, a branch of AI that enables computers to understand, interpret, generate, and manipulate human language (both text and speech). His work has been recognised with multiple best paper awards and nominations, and he has spoken at many top AI conferences. Adhiguna holds a DPhil in computer science from the University of Oxford, a Master’s degree in AI from Carnegie Mellon University, and a Bachelor’s in informatics engineering from the Institut Teknologi Bandung.
