Westminster
London SW1P 3AD

The British Foreign Policy Group and the Indonesian Embassy are hosting a seminar on ‘The Future of Indonesia-UK Relations Post-Brexit’ .

Participants will include:

  • H.E. Dr Rizal Sukma, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia
  • Tom Cargill, Executive Director, British Foreign Policy Group
  • Dr Dino Patti Djalal, Chair of the Foreign Policy Community Indonesia
  • A UK Government Representative, TBC

As the UK prepares to leave the European Union, and with Indonesia’s status as a rising regional power and a G20 country with a vast and growing population, the UK-Indonesia relationship is of increasing strategic importance.

The seminar explored the potential to innovate and advance relations between Indonesia and the UK. It will discuss a number of themes, including ‘Global Britain’ and opportunities it provides to elevate the Indonesia-UK partnership; and look at how we can better coordinate this relationship to the mutual benefit of both nations.

Lunch was served following the discussion.

The event was invite only
