Calling All Balinese chefs

Posted on November 29, 2025November 29, 2025 By Ati Kisjanto No Comments on Calling All Balinese chefs

AIS has received the following appeal:
My name is Bertille Duthoit, and I am a journalist for ARTE TV. I work on the show Voyage en Cuisine, which airs in France and Germany from Monday to Thursday.

This program explores the history and geography of a country or region through its gastronomy. Each episode focuses on a chef and a signature dish from their home country.

We are preparing a special report on expatriate and immigrant cuisine. The idea is to give a voice to people originally from Bali but living abroad—particularly in London—to understand how cooking helps them maintain a strong connection with their culture and roots.

That’s why I am looking for Balinese people living in London who would be willing to share their story and show us how they preserve their culinary traditions here.

If you are interested, or know someone who might be, I would be delighted to discuss it further!

Please feel free to contact me at: +33 6 99 40 74 41
