On Ki Hadjar Dewantara’s Philosophy of Education

A-IS Council member, Dorothy Ferary, has just published her new article “On Ki Hadjar Dewantara’s Philosophy of Education” in the Nordic Journal of Comparative and International Education. In her article, she compares Dewantara’s educational views with those of Rabindranath Tagore, Maria Montessori, and Friedrich Fröbel. It also compares Dewantara’s schools with the colonial schools, as well as the current education system in Indonesia. Her article is avalaible here.
