Tempeh: Food of the Future?

Thursday, 8 April. 12 PM – 1:45 PM (ONLINE via Zoom)


Link & Change and Rasaku are organising a discussion event about tempeh. Two of the speakers (Sri Owen and Petty Elliott) are A-IS members.  

Sri Owen, the veteran cook and writer about Indonesian food, will explain how tempeh was introduced to the British.
Petty Elliott will demonstrate simple yet healthy and tasty tempeh recipes.
Wida Winarno will share her expertise on the health benefits of different varieties of tempeh, such as it being the only non-meat substance that contains vitamin B12.

Amalia Sudijono will share the challenges of producing tempeh in the UK.
