A Talk on Forestry in Indonesia

Posted on September 27, 2022November 30, 2022 By AIS_news@mail.com No Comments on A Talk on Forestry in Indonesia

Tuesday, 8 November 2022, 6.30 pm for 6.45pm
Venue is to be confirmed.

Simon Stuart will give a talk on Forestry in Indonesia. Simon is a forestry consultant based in Scotland. His Indonesian forestry experience started in 1994 in Riau and encompassed commercial forestry, timber certification, carbon forestry, corporate social responsibility and large scale planning. Working with villagers on the ground up to the Minister of Forestry and also working between overseas investors and Indonesian institutions and companies, was always interesting. Although his last full time employment in Indonesia finished in 2014 Simon says that there are still similar challenges and opportunities in Indonesia.
