The Horniman Museum

Members and their families visited the Horniman Museum in Forest Hill on Sunday, June 23rd to see the new World Gallery. The Gallery includes a display of some of the Museum’s extensive collection of Indonesian batiks, and curator Fiona Kerlogue talked about the collection and to answer members’ questions.

There are other Indonesian items elsewhere in the gallery, including a becak. There is also an Indonesian mangrove exhibit in the aquarium and a butterfly house in the gardens. For more details click here
