London Mini Indonesian Film Festival is the inaugural programme of feature-length films screening organised by Indonesian Film Society. The festival this year was held at Curzon Bloomsbury starting on Friday 22 November until Sunday 24 November.

The programming highlighted the best of Indonesian contemporary cinema, aiming to incite conversations on Indonesian contemporary issues and raise awareness on Indonesian cinema to an international audience in the UK. Films screened include: “17 Steps of May”, “Bumi Manusia” (Earth of Mankind), “Turah” (Leftovers), “Nyanyian Akar Rumput” (The Song of grassroots), “Dua Garis Biru” (Two Blue Lines).

By launching a platform for conversation through films, London Mini Indonesian Film Festival hoped to promote voices and discussions to a larger and more diverse audience. Click here for further information about this event.
