We were delighted to welcome Moazzam Malik CMG as our guest speaker. Moazzam recently completed a very successful tour of nearly 5 years as UK Ambassador in Indonesia. Read Moazzam’s “Farewell Letter to Indonesia”  here.

In his talk, Moazzam spoke movingly about former President Habibie, whose death had just been announced. He subsequently wrote a personal tribute: see this link. He also shared his thoughts and experiences from his posting, and some observations on future challenges and opportunities – all of which made for a stimulating and thought-provoking evening.
