THE ANGLO-INDONESIAN SOCIETY
The Anglo-Indonesian Society was formed in 1956 as a non-political, cultural and social society. It has about 280 members of which about a third are Indonesian. Its members include Indonesian diplomats, British people who have worked in Indonesia, academics, tourists and an increasing number of students. The Society's normal meetings are free, held in the Indonesian Embassy and are extremely informal in both content and dress. A short talk with a free bar before and after is the norm. These meetings happen about eight times a year and there are also occasional special events which usually have to be charged for.

We hope that many of those with an interest in Indonesia or Indonesians with an interest in the UK will consider joining the Society: membership is only £10 per annum, student membership is free. Corporate Membership is £50 per annum.

PERHIMPUNAN INDONESIA-INGGERIS
